Most Cause Of Death At 65+

Why: Heart disease is caused by diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, improper diet and lack of exercise. It can also have a genic component.

Prevent: Have better diet and exercise more.

Women develop heart problems later in life than men -- typically 7 or 8 years later. However, by about age 65, a woman's risk is almost the same as a man's.

Symtoms: Heart disease includes conditions such as heart failure, heart attack and heart arrhythmia that can cause the heart to beat ineffectively and impair circulation.
