Grammer Post: Past Tense


There are some words that I cannot tell if it is past tense or not. Here I found that this helps me a lot.

Past tense verbs are used to express an action that has already happened. For most verbs, you can just add –ed to ending and you’re good to go. For irregular verbs, such as BE, HAVE, and DO, they have forms that are different depending on the subject.


Wallace moved into his new house last Saturday.

Yesterday I visited him for tea.
