I sometimes don't know when to put in a comma. I can't decide if I need a comma or not. It gets confusing. So I read the sentence and pause where it sounds rights. But it sometimes doesn't work.
This is a rule that helps me: Use commas to separate independent clauses when they are joined by any of these seven coordinating conjunctions: and, but, for, or, nor, so, yet.
